Visit the Simon Pearce Glass Flagship Store

The Simon Pearce Glass & Pottery Flagship Store is located in nearby Quechee, about 15 minutes from Woodstock, Vermont Inns. The Quechee area is perhaps best known for the stunning Quechee State Park and Quechee Gorge. We, however, love the area for an entirely different reason: it’s the home of the magnificent Simon Pearce Glass & Pottery Flagship Store.

Simon Pearce Glass is well known the world over as being steeped in artistry and craftsmanship. Though the pieces produced by Simon Pearce Glass are just as functional as they are beautiful, attention to detail and stunning aesthetics are at the forefront of every design.

Simon Pearce began his career in his father’s pottery studio at 16 before traveling all over Europe working with glassmakers and eventually returning to open the Simon Pearce Glass & Pottery Flagship Store in Quechee, Vermont. The phrase “timeless simplicity” is one that has been applied to his work over the years, and it’s a phrase that still rings true today.

Though visiting the Simon Pearce Glass & Pottery Flagship Store in Quechee is a wonderful place to browse these incredible works of art, it’s also a true destination for art lovers. Here, you can visit the turbine-powered glassblowing studio on the banks of the Ottauquechee River and watch the artisans hard at work. The glassblowing workshop can be visited Monday – Tuesday from 10 am – 4 pm and Wednesday – Sunday from 10 am – 6 pm.

Apart from being a great place to watch glassblowing artisans in action and shop for one-of-a-kind pieces to take home with you, the Simon Pearce Glass flagship store is also one of our favorite places to enjoy a delicious meal. The Simon Pearce Restaurant is perched overlooking the river and is open Wednesday through Sunday, with reservations required.

Like many of the finest Woodstock VT restaurants, the Simon Pearce Restaurant focuses on creatively-prepared dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The views of the Ottauquechee River and the covered bridge only enhance the overall experience at the Simon Pearce Glass & Pottery Flagship Store & Restaurant.
