Craft beer is taking over in all parts of the US and the world. And, Vermont is home to some of the absolute best!
Three Vermont breweries are represented in BeerAdvocate’s Top 250 beers – The Alchemist’s Heady Topper held the top spot for quite some time, with Lawson’s Finest Liquids and Hill Farmstead Brewery having one product in the top 15 and many more as the list continues. But, while Heady Topper remains in limited distribution closer to their brewery in Waterbury, VT, our friendly WORTHY KITCHEN right here in Woodstock offers you the chance to regularly sample products of the other two. And, their blackboard of 18 taps includes other special Vermont options from breweries such as Zero Gravity, Rock Art, Foley Brothers and Fiddlehead along with names you will recognize (and enjoy) from across the country.
But, the beer is not the only reason to visit with our friends at Worthy – food completes the picture. Burgers and wings – check, french fries (with truffle oil if you like) – check. AND – local cheeses, meats and produce appear in so many creative options that you will have some decisions to make as you try to match the beers. 
The blackboard changes regularly, so go to their Facebook page for updated photos and postings. Jackson House Inn guest favorites have been the buttermilk fried chicken and, in case you can save room for dessert, the warm doughnuts (actually, save room!).
Oh, and yes, wines are available along with their special cocktails – often featuring local distilleries – and some local non-alcoholic ciders and sodas, too! They are open for brunch/lunch on weekends or plan to enjoy a dinnertime treat on any day of the week or weekend.
