Welcome Summer in Woodstock, VT – Something for Everyone

Jackson House Inn, Woodstock Vermont

wideshotFinally – it’s time to enjoy yourself and embrace summer in New England!  Coming to Woodstock, Vermont puts you in the perfect location.  Whether you prefer exercise, theater, music, or history – you will find it in our town.  We have a few rooms remaining on weekends, so let us host your visit.

June 21:  Only a few spots remain in Long Trail’s Century Ride to benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski and Spmaking-ice-creamorts.  Our inn is only a 10-minute drive from the start/finish!  The 60-mile course passes near our inn…

June 20 – 29: BarnArts Center for the Arts presents “Little Shop of Horrors” – what fun!  The drive to Barnard from our inn is beautiful at this time of year.

June 28:  The Vermont Symphony Orchestra Summer Festival Tour will perform just outside Woodstock at Suicide Six Ski Area.  Gates open at 5PM, so grab a delicious picnic dinner from our friends at the Woodstock Farmers Market or head to the site after an early meal in the village.  (The rain location is directly across from our inn at Woodstock High School if Mother Nature does not cooperate.)

June 22 & 29:  June is Dairy Month, so visit Billings Farm & Museum to experience Ice Cream Sundays.  Help to make and then have a chance to taste a hand-cranked summer treat!  Displays and programs highlight the history of dairy farming and its wonderful contribution to the area.
