Vermont offers fabulous adventure opportunities for children and youth. Summer camps allow for time on the lakes, in the woods, and in the fields (sporting or farming). Camp Billings on Lake Fairlee near Post Mills, VT is special to our family – our two children attended for nearly 15 years (our son definitely enjoyed the dodgeball game)! And, we’ve enjoyed meeting the staff from Farm and Wilderness Camps near Plymouth since we’ve moved to Woodstock.
The Jackson House Inn at Woodstock is conveniently located near a number of summer camps. What a great idea – drop off your campers for their Vermont experience and then stay at The Jackson House Inn, or come back early before the pickup.
Our three acres will provide parents with a tranquil setting as well as access to shopping and dining in the Village of Woodstock and all of the attractions of central Vermont such as Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park and Billings Farm & Museum, Calvin Coolidge Historic Site, and Quechee Gorge to name a few.
