This past weekend we celebrated the 15th anniversary of our business with our employees and their guests, there were a total of 15 of us. From the initial contact months ago with Jennifer English (she and her husband own the property) right through checking out this past Sunday morning - we had a wonderful experience. Jennifer is constantly seeing to every detail to make sure her guests have a memorable and comfortable stay. Our hats off to Jason the chef and Brook the dining room manager for making our dining experiences a true pleasure. We seek out wonderful restaurants wherever we travel - this is a true find! Thanks to all of the kitchen staff and wait staff Saturday evening for an evening none of us will ever forget. The setting, the service and the incredible attention to detail of every part of our meal were absolutely wonderful - the food continues to be raved about from our gang. The location of the inn is fantastic - just a mile out of the center of Woodstock - and of course the spectacular weekend weather only made it all the more beautiful. Even if the weather hadn't cooperated, we know we would have had an incredible experience staying at the Jackson House Inn because we were in the very capable hands of Jennifer and Bernie. We would recommend this inn to anyone seeking a truly relaxing, comfortable getaway that includes outstanding dining and truly caring hosts. - Amherst, MA

My wife and I and another couple stayed at the Jackson House Inn in March and were treated to an experience that can only be described as incredible. From the time we checked in to the time we packed up and departed, our stay there was phenomenal. The owners, Bernie and Jennifer, greeted us amiably as guests when we arrived and saw us off as friends when we had to leave on Sunday. The Inn itself was more beautiful than it's website depicted and the rooms we selected were grand yet fully functional. Even though it was winter outside, the Inn felt cozy and warm throughout. We knew we had come to the right place. But the best was yet to come. Dinner!! We came downstairs and were treated to a cocktail before our meal. The dining room decor was magnificent and the service was outstanding. We felt like our dinner had been choreographed by Chef Jason and his staff just for us!! All the way home we couldn't stop talking about our wonderful experiences and we were already making plans for another stay at the Inn in the spring when the flowers are in bloom. We highly recommend the Jackson House Inn to anyone who is planning a trip to the Woodstock area. You will not be disappointed!!
